Planed wood

Wood planing

Planing – it is the process by which wood is processed. The surface of the planed wood is smooth; it becomes easier to maintain. The wood is usually planed with the help of a machine tool. High-quality pine, spruce or larch wood is usually chosen for planing. Such wood is characterised by lightness, softness, easy processing. Planed wood can be with tongues and grooves. This type of planed wood is one of the most popular and most commonly used for lining boards and floor boards as in such a case the cracks between the boards are least visible. Planed wood can also be without tongues and grooves, when the gaps are specially needed to obtain the desired product. The planed wood is already ready for use and does not require any special processing, furthermore, the main advantage of the planed wood would be dimensional accuracy and a smooth board surface on all four sides.
